#Run4Raiders on a 12-person team in the 2020 Wild West Relay, a Colorado long-distance overnight team relay race adventure! Course starts in Fort Collins and ends in Steamboat Springs, 36 Legs, 200 Miles. 2 Mountain Passes! Race is Friday to Saturdya, August 7th - 8th Colorado is home to some of the most inspiring landscapes in the country. With mountains that reach to the sky, rushing rivers, and starry nights like you’ve never seen, the Centennial state is a runner’s dream – and you have the chance to experience it like you never have before! The Wild West Relay starts in the foothills of beautiful Fort Collins before sending runners deep into the heart of the Rocky Mountains. This scenic and remote course takes athletes over two mountain passes and through three national forests before reaching the finish line in the idyllic ski town of Steamboat Springs. Along the way you’ll pass picture perfect mountain communities, working ranches, and the jaw-dropping vistas that typify the American west. You’ll run on dirt roads and under starry skies and when you and your team cross the finish line at the Steamboat Springs ski resort, you’ll be rewarded with a cold beer and an even colder dip in the Yampa River that winds its way right through town. Fun finish at The Steamboat Resort with Beer Garden! Our new finish line is at the Gondola Plaza at the Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. Not only will teams finish in a more centralized area, but they will also be able to enjoy a cold brew at the beer garden and a refreshing dip in the rippling creek that cuts through the heart of the resort. What's more, the upscale finish line feast will be provided by resort catering.
